Spring Healing Cleaning!

Spring Healing Cleaning!

As we are settling into spring, I am beginning the spring cleaning in our bird’s nest apartment. Whew! It needs it. A 3 year old, a busy mom, and a work-at-home dad… art projects, multiple home cooked meals a day, toys… toys… and more toys! And where is my desk… has anyone seen my desk?! Not to mention books… and jackets… and clothes of all sorts, washed and unwashed and hanging to dry and needing folding…. Everyday messes and deep cleaning messes are being tackled. It is the season for it!

As I begin these cleaning projects at home, I realize we can spring clean ourselves too! Here is a coupon for you to use when you book your healing session online. It is for new, continuing, and returning clients alike and can be used once between now and the beginning of summer. SPRING17 will get you an hour long $99 healing session of your choice, when you schedule online. I look forward to supporting you with your spring cleaning healing journey soon!

70 Days of Weaning: Days 11-12

Day 11: I was with my son’s feelings for around 20 min or so tonight. I am not sure of the exact timing. It was dark, and we were in his room. Maybe it was a half hour total. My partner helped for some of it. We were trying to make the bedtime – midnight… Continue Reading

Day 8: New Milestone  Today, something new happened! I was on my way home after having some personal time (thank goodness for me-time!), and I internally fretted about the possibility of my son wanting to nurse directly upon my arrival. My plan was to hold out till bedtime, a few hours later. I felt unsure… Continue Reading

70 Days of Weaning: Day 6

Begin Again, Now Your responses, questions, support, and love are all helping me stay conscious and deliberate in my actions. I continually begin again from now, this present moment. I am intimate friends with these inquiries: Is my son thriving? Am I thriving? How is this working for us? Is there anything I would like… Continue Reading

70 Days of Weaning: Days 3-4

Mama’s Readiness I have been asked, and I continually ask myself if I am ready to wean. I have been in this place before where the possibility of weaning is on the table, and I have to decide what to do. Each time, (at 14 months, 18 months, and 22 months) I felt pressure from… Continue Reading

70 Days of Weaning: Day 1

Mint Tea and Bandaids  During my pregnancy, I spent lots of time preparing to breastfeed. For example, I had weekly calls with a breastfeeding peer counselor. She was a mom, with her own breastfeeding experience, and she was trained by WIC and La Leche League to help other moms through their breastfeeding experiences. My conversations… Continue Reading
